The Lennox sixth grade boys basketball team wrapped up an extraordinary season by compiling a 36-1 overall record and capturing championships in both the North Dakota Middle School State Tournament and the Nebraska Middle School State Tournament. Coached by Joe Reints and Brock Rops, the team finished undefeated against all sixth-grade opponents and did not lose a single game to travel teams throughout the season. The Lennox High School boys’ basketball team faced off against St. Thomas More last week, Tuesday, Mar. 10 in the SoDak 16 match-up. Lennox trailed early but battled back to tie things up, forcing overtime. In overtime, however, St. Thomas More took the two-point advantage with just seconds on the clock.
