LHS softball team wraps up regular season
The Lennox High School softball team fell to West Central High School, 8-2, on Thursday, May 21, in a late-season match-up. West Central took control early, scoring three runs in the opening inning. Primary Election to be held June 2
Lincoln County residents will head to the polls on Tuesday, June 2, for the 2026 Primary Election. Polling places across the county will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. central time. LHS boys earn sixth at State: Plank finishes third at Flight #1
The Lennox High School boys’ tennis team traveled to Rapid City on May 17th -19th for the Class A State tournament. This was a two-day event where each player competed in their corresponding flight in singles and doubles. Orioles advance to State, fall short of title
The Lennox High School baseball team punched its ticket to the 2026 SDHSBA Class B State Tournament after a pair of impressive victories in the Metro Super Regional Playoffs on Tuesday, May 19. Turner County 4-Hers compete in State Shoot
The South Dakota 4-H Shooting Sports program is a part of the SDSU Extension 4-H Youth Development program, focusing on developing safe shooting habits in participating youth members. LENNOX, S.D. – Thirty-nine 4-H members from Lincoln County participated in the South Dakota 4-H Spring State Shoot April 24-26 in Pierre and Fort Pierre. Memorial Day Program in Chancellor to be held May 25

Lennox Memorial Day Service to be held May 25
The American Legion Brethorst-Burma Post No. 174 will host the 2026 Memorial Day Service on Monday, May 25, at 7 p.m. at the Lennox American Legion Hall. Worthing kindergarten teacher retires after 33 years with district
Paula Keyman officially retired following this school year after 33 years with the Lennox School District. Keyman spent most of those years at Worthing Elementary. Growing up the oldest, Paula Keyman liked playing school with her younger sisters. “I always played school.
