LHS volleyball team takes fourth at Conference Tournament
The Lennox High School Oriole volleyball went into the DAK XII Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 18 as a fourth-place seed. Lennox’s first match-up was against fifth seed West Central. In their two previous match-ups this season, Lennox was the victor. This time was no different as Lennox won the match 25-14, 25-27 and 25-15. School Board hears support for girls soccer
The Lennox School Board met Oct. 13 and heard more about girls soccer. Student Kamille Schmidt spoke on behalf of the numerous girls and families in attendance during public comment. She and others were present to keep the conversation moving forward and she hoped the data collected by the district shows that people are in support of adding the sport. Council discusses regional wastewater plan and bike safety program
With all members present, the Lennox City Council met Tuesday, Oct. 14. Mayor Danny Fergen opened the meeting by asking for public comment for items not on the agenda. Lennox High School cross country teams to compete at State this Saturday
The Lennox High School cross country program had a day to remember on Friday, Oct. 17, as both the boys’ and girls’ varsity teams captured Region 3A Championships, earning their entire squads a trip to the State Meet this Saturday, Oct. 25, in Huron. On Saturday, Oct. 11 the Lennox High School Oriole volleyball team hosted Class AA Pierre Governors in an afternoon match. Lennox advances to finals in Dutchmen Field Championship
On Saturday, Oct. 11, the Lennox High School Marching Band competed in the 2025 Dutchmen Field Championship held in Orange City, Iowa. The band delivered an outstanding performance, earning second place in their class and capturing the award for Best Color Guard.
