Lennox middle school wrestlers traveled to Pierre this past weekend to compete in the Middle School State Wrestling Tournament, with several athletes earning podium finishes against top competition from across South Dakota. Leading the way for Lennox was Khloe Sauers, who captured the 155-pound state championship. Sauers battled through a competitive bracket to secure the top spot on the podium. The Lennox High School girls’ basketball team enjoyed a busy week of basketball last week, defeating Elk Point Jefferson and Baltic, before falling to Hamlin in a tight match-up against two of the top teams in the State on Saturday, Feb. 7. Against Elk Point Jefferson on Tuesday, Feb. 3, Lennox led 18-9 after the opening quarter, going on to get the 52-35 victory.  “It’s always good to pick up a DAK XII win, especially on the road,” said LHS head coach Adam Quail. Teegan Musser works around the Baltic defender.  Last week, the Lennox High School boys’ basketball team earned a trio of wins, defeating Elk Point Jefferson 74-34 on Feb. 3; Baltic 58-41 on Feb. 5 and Sergeant Bluff-Luton, 75-70 in overtime on Feb. 7 at the Sioux Falls Pentagon.  Against EPJ, Lennox jumped ahead early and had 11 athletes get in on the scoring in the decisive win.  “We came out and jumped to a nice lead and then allowed them to hang around in the game for a b
