Thoms earns 100th career win: Four LHS girls reach podium at Floyd Farrand Tournament, two boys earn podium honors

Sophomore Jocelyn Thoms reached a major milestone in her high school wrestling career, earning her 100th career victory while competing at the Floyd Farrand Tournament on Monday, Dec. 29, at Sioux Falls Lincoln. Thoms was one of four Lennox High School girls wrestlers to compete in the tournament, with all four stepping onto the podium. Orioles open season 7-0
The Lennox High School girls’ basketball team remain undefeated after grabbing a 49-19 Monday night win over West Lyon to improve to 7-0 on the season. The Lennox High School wrestling headed out west and had two athletes reach the podium in the Rapid City Invitational. Grant Larson took fifth place for the LHS boys at 175 pounds and Jocelyn Thoms captured fifth place for the LHS girls at 140 pounds. The Lennox Junior High powerlifting team turned in a strong performance at the Baltic Junior High Powerlifting Meet on Saturday, Dec. 13. On the girls side, Brynlee Green and Kenna Kitrell each claimed first place in their respective weight classes.
