The Lennox High School cross country runners faced hot and challenging conditions Friday evening, Sept. 4, as they competed in the Augustana Twilight Meet at Yankton Trail Park. Despite the heat, the LHS girls turned in several strong performances. Adie McVey led Lennox with a time of 19:50.7, earning a season-best mark, finishing 56th among the field of hundreds. After a sluggish opening quarter, the Lennox High School football team’s offense came alive and never looked back, getting the 30-0 win over Vermillion at the Dakota Dome on Friday, Sept. 4. Lennox put up the first score of the game in the second quarter as Cayden Huls found Drake Mikkelsen for a 76-yard touchdown.
