The Lennox High School girls’ tennis team traveled to Madison on Thursday, Oct. 1 for their last match of the season. The day kicked off with junior varsity singles with the Orioles taking a 10-6 lead from wins by Sierra Wesseling, Kenzie Bosma, Izzy Gerdes, Tori Gerdes, Marin Bartscher, Karissa Iken, Sophia Onnen, Ava Elk Boy, Lily Kezar and Olivia Wallenstein. The Lennox High School Junior Varsity football team took on Madison on Monday, Sept. 28. The Oriole defense forced the Bulldogs to turnover on downs on the opening possession. The Lennox High School football team fell to West Central, 24-12, Friday, Oct. 2. West Central took an early lead in the first quarter when the Trojans scored on a 4-yard run, giving them a 7-0 advantage. The Trojans extended their lead in the second quarter with a 26-yard touchdown pass, making it 14-0 at halftime.
