Orioles finish seventh at State Tournament: Hayley Hahn earns All-Tournament honors
The Lennox High School Orioles wrapped up their 2026 season with a seventh-place finish at the Class A State Softball Tournament held June 4-6, earning a victory over Madison after dropping their first two contests of the tournament. Despite rainy conditions on both Friday and Saturday, the Lennox High School Oriole track and field team turned in one of the most successful performances in school history at the 2026 SDHSAA State Track and Field Meet, held May 28-30 at Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls. LHS softball team wraps up regular season
The Lennox High School softball team fell to West Central High School, 8-2, on Thursday, May 21, in a late-season match-up. West Central took control early, scoring three runs in the opening inning. Ayla Kramer drove in the first run with a single before Miley Travis and Sophie Rolfson each collected RBI hits to give West Central a 3-0 advantage. The Lennox High School boys’ tennis team traveled to Rapid City on May 17th -19th for the Class A State tournament. This was a two-day event where each player competed in their corresponding flight in singles and doubles. The Lennox High School baseball team punched its ticket to the 2026 SDHSBA Class B State Tournament after a pair of impressive victories in the Metro Super Regional Playoffs on Tuesday, May 19. The Lennox High School Orioles baseball team split a pair of games last week, cruising to a 14-3 victory over the West Central Trojans on Monday, May 4, before falling to the Dell Rapids Quarriers 4-2 on Thursday, May 7. LHS athletes earn personal bests at Rich Luther Invite
The Lennox High School track and field teams turned in a strong showing at the Rich Luther Invite on Tuesday, May 5, highlighted by numerous personal best performances and a long list of top-eight finishes across both the boys and girls divisions. Eli Plank earns 100th career victory: LHS tennis team takes on Roosevelt, Brandon Valley, Pierre, Huron
This past week, Eli Plank (pictured at right) reached 100 varsity wins. Eli has been on varsity since seventh grade and has worked his way up the line up each year and this season he surpassed 100 varsity wins in singles and doubles. Plank is the second player in school history to reach this milestone and now has the second most varsity wins in school history behind his brother, Jaxon Plank.
