Project underway on S.D Highway 44
LENNOX, S.D. – On April 20, 2026, S.D. Highway 44 closed from the south side of the Oriole Avenue intersection to the intersection of Highway 44 (280th Street) to begin grading work by Lennox. School board reviews budget history
The Lennox School Board met April 13. Superintendent Adam Shaw presented on the budget. He supplied a budget report dating back to 2020 to give the board an idea of where state aid has been. Shaw said they spent cash reserves down year after year to follow state law and they haven’t taxed the taxpayers. New local trash service launches in Lennox with old-school customer care

Drivers ignoring road closures face fines as roundabout construction begins
With construction underway on a new roundabout at the intersection of 276th Street and 166th Avenue aimed at improving the traffic flow in the area and safety through the intersection.
