Primary Election to be held June 2

Lincoln County residents will head to the polls on Tuesday, June 2, for the 2026 Primary Election. Polling places across the county will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. central time.

Several local polling locations serving the Lennox, Tea and Worthing areas include:

• West Prairie Lutheran Church, 46788 282nd St., Lennox — Precinct 11-14, Perry Township

• First English Lutheran Church, 120 E. 2nd Ave., Lennox — Precinct 25, Lennox Ward 1

• Prairie View Event Hall, 27091 Kerslake Place, Tea — Precinct 16

• Tea City Hall, 600 E. 1st St., Tea — Precincts 24-01, 24-02 and 24-03

• Worthing Fire Station, 403 S. Louise Ave., Worthing — Precinct 23-13

• South Lincoln Rural Water, 28647 472nd Ave., Worthing — Precinct 08

Voters unsure of their polling place can visit the South Dakota Secretary of State’s Voter Information Portal at https://vip.sdsos.gov/VIPLogin.aspx

South Dakota law requires voters appearing at the polls to provide identification. Accepted forms of photo identification include:

• South Dakota driver’s license or nondriver ID card

• U.S. government-issued photo ID, including a passport

• U.S. Armed Forces ID

• Tribal photo ID

Voters without photo identification may complete a personal identification affidavit and still cast a regular ballot.

Anyone needing assistance under the Americans with Disabilities Act is encouraged to contact the Lincoln County Auditor’s Office prior to Election Day for information regarding polling place accessibility.

• Canton Methodist Church, 621 E. 4th St., Canton — Precincts 06, 20 and 30

• Shalom Lutheran Church, 1000 Maple St., Harrisburg — Precincts 12 and 15

• New Day Church, 27365 472nd Ave., Harrisburg — Precinct 13-14

• Beresford City Library, 115 S. 3rd St., Beresford — Precinct 26

• Heritage Center, 200 E. Willow St., Harrisburg — Precincts 27 and 29

Several Sioux Falls precincts will also vote at locations including First Evangelical Free Church, Trinity Reformed Church, Central Church, Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, Living Word Free Lutheran Church, Faith Baptist Church, Linwood Wesleyan Church, Spirit of Peace Church and Harvest Church.
