Primary Election to be held June 2
Lincoln County residents will head to the polls on Tuesday, June 2, for the 2026 Primary Election. Polling places across the county will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. central time. Turner County 4-Hers compete in State Shoot
The South Dakota 4-H Shooting Sports program is a part of the SDSU Extension 4-H Youth Development program, focusing on developing safe shooting habits in participating youth members. April 24 – 26, 2026, several Turner County 4-H members competed at the State 4-H Shooting Sports Competition at Fort Pierre. LENNOX, S.D. – Thirty-nine 4-H members from Lincoln County participated in the South Dakota 4-H Spring State Shoot April 24-26 in Pierre and Fort Pierre. Memorial Day Program in Chancellor to be held May 25

Lennox City Council discusses food truck permit exemption and water shutoff policy

Worthing kindergarten teacher retires after 33 years with district
Paula Keyman officially retired following this school year after 33 years with the Lennox School District. Keyman spent most of those years at Worthing Elementary. Growing up the oldest, Paula Keyman liked playing school with her younger sisters. “I always played school. School board approves opt-out resolution
After three public meetings about a possible opt-out, the school board passed a resolution approving an opt-out at the May 11 board meeting. In the resolution, “…the above said board is unable to operate under the tax limitation measure currently in statute for the General fund. Lennox High School celebrates Class of 2026
The Lennox High School Class of 2026 held their Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at the High School gymnasium. The ceremony began with the graduates walking in to the processional performed by the Lennox High School Band under the direction of Mr. Youngquist. Eli Highum honored as top one percent

City advances EAB plan, reviews fees and speed limits
The Lennox City Council met Monday, April 27. Council members heard agenda items including emerald ash borer discussions, community garden fees, and speed discussions.
