Lennox school board recognizes student for academic achievement
The Lennox School Board met Jan. 12 and recognized a student for his academic achievement. Junior high and high school principal Chad Allison recognized freshman Kameron Karlson for his perfect score on the science assessment in spring 2025. He was one of 17 in his grade level across the state to post a perfect score. Lennox Speech and Debate wins first annual Tea Tournament
On Saturday, Jan. 10, several students competed at the first ever Tea speech and debate tournament. With strong performances from all the members, they were able to just beat out Beresford for the overall first place. LACF grant to support lighting project at Lincoln County 4-H Horse Arena
The Lincoln County 4-H Leaders have been awarded a $1,850 grant from the Lennox Area Community Fund (LACF). The funding was part of LACF’s 2025 grant cycle, which supported eight local organizations. Other recipients include the Lennox Area Ambulance, Junior Achievement, Worthing Fire Department, Lennox Community Library, Old Towne Dinner Theatre, the Chancellor Fire Department, City of Worthing and the Lennox Historical Society. School board discusses state budget proposal
The Lennox School District board of education met Dec. 8 and addressed the governor’s budget address that was delivered last week. Superintendent Adam Shaw noted that schools are frustrated with Gov. City Council approves rezoning of Opheim Addition after public concerns
With all members present, the Lennox City Council met Monday, Nov. 24 at Lennox City Hall.
