Board hears from community on use of district facilities
Members of the community spoke out at the Lennox School Board meeting on Monday, Feb. 9. Retired teacher Joy Lang spoke about her use of the building to offer piano lessons. She has signed an agreement and paid a fee but her teaching was disrupted Jan. 13. Four other community members spoke out in support of Lang. Parent Annie Hoffman asked the board to consider an amendment to the policy. Later in the meeting, the board approved the amended use of district facilities policy.

Lennox One Act heads to State after Region 2A win
The Lennox High School One Act cast and crew earned top honors at the Region 2A competition last Tuesday, Jan. 27, capturing first place with their production of Miss Matched by Sean Cercone. With the regional win, Lennox has qualified for the State One Act Play Festival, which will be held Feb. 5–7 at Brandon Valley High School. City Council moves forward on emergency services, housing development, and data center review

Wirt Family named 2026 Farm Family of the Year
Getting involved and promoting agriculture are important to Adam and Melissa Wirt. Through 4-H, FFA and the Stockyards Ag Experience, the Wirts enjoy giving back to the community and spreading a positive message of agriculture. Lennox Community Library receives grant to enhance programming and outreach
The Lennox Community Library has been awarded a $1,050 grant from the Lennox Area Community Fund (LACF). The funding was part of LACF’s 2025 grant cycle, which supported eight local organizations.
