Fun Run draws in runners

The annual Firecracker Fun Run brought runners together on the morning of July 4 to support the Lennox Lions Club and the Lennox Area Community Fund.
The Lennox Lions Club thanked everyone who participated in this year’s event, as well as the many sponsors and volunteers who helped make the race a success.
Top finishers in the event included:
5K—Top Male: Tiegan Lindner of Sioux Falls; Top Female: Debra Yackley of Sioux Falls
10K—Top Male: Tyler Boltjes of Beresford; Top Female: Shelby Bogue of Beresford
The Lions Club also expressed its appreciation to local Emergency Management Services for assisting along the race route and helping ensure the safety of participants throughout the event.
Organizers said they are grateful for the community’s continued support of the Firecracker Fun Run and look forward to welcoming runners back for next year’s race.
