LHS boys earn sixth at State: Plank finishes third at Flight #1
The Lennox High School boys’ tennis team traveled to Rapid City on May 17th -19th for the Class A State tournament. This was a two-day event where each player competed in their corresponding flight in singles and doubles. Eli Plank earns 100th career victory: LHS tennis team takes on Roosevelt, Brandon Valley, Pierre, Huron
This past week, Eli Plank (pictured at right) reached 100 varsity wins. Eli has been on varsity since seventh grade and has worked his way up the line up each year and this season he surpassed 100 varsity wins in singles and doubles. Plank is the second player in school history to reach this milestone and now has the second most varsity wins in school history behind his brother, Jaxon Plank. LHS boys tennis team wins home match-up against Milbank
Riley Nelson gets the hit during play against Milbank On Monday, April 20, the Lennox High School boys’ tennis team traveled to Tomar Park in Sioux Falls for a triangular meet against Mitchell and SF Christian. The varsity squad started the day off playing doubles against Mitchell. Tennis team defeated Vermillion in home dual
The Lennox High School boys’ tennis team hosted Vermillion on Thursday, April 16. The varsity started off with doubles where the team played some smart and consistent points to take the win at all three flights, taking a 3-0 lead into singles. The Orioles kept the momentum going and scored wins from Eli Plank at flight #1, Chase Lundquist at flight #4 and Riley Nelson at flight #6. This gave the team a 6-3 dual win and improved their record to 2-0 on the season. In JV
