JH powerlifting finds success in first meet
The Lennox Junior High powerlifting team turned in a strong performance at the Baltic Junior High Powerlifting Meet on Saturday, Dec. 13. On the girls side, Brynlee Green and Kenna Kitrell each claimed first place in their respective weight classes. City discusses real estate purchase, Cleveland Avenue transition

School board discusses state budget proposal
The Lennox School District board of education met Dec. 8 and addressed the governor’s budget address that was delivered last week. Superintendent Adam Shaw noted that schools are frustrated with Gov. Larry Rhoden’s budget proposal of a zero percent increase in state aid to school districts.
