Ace Hardware store opens in Lennox

March 2, 2017

Ace Hardware opened their doors in Lennox just three weeks ago. The retail chain is located on Highway 17 in Sunshine Foods’ new shopping center on the north edge of town. Lennox Ace Hardware’s managing partner Fred Rosin  said they’ve been pleased with the customer turnout and he’s heard that customers are pleased with the how the store looks.

The bright 9,000 square feet on the sales floor is filled with well-organized merchandise that covers a variety of needs — from nuts and bolts to housewares to paint and power tools.

Rosin said, “We have a little bit of everything.”

And inventory is always updated. Rosin said, “If a customer sees something we don’t have they can tell us, in some cases we won’t be able to source it, but for the most part we can source any product imaginable.”

Rosin said last week some of the hot items were shovels, ice melt and heaters; and although the Lennox store doesn’t have snowblowers on hand, they have access to the complete inventory of what’s at the Tea Ace Hardware. Rosin said the great thing about Ace is the quality of brands the chain carries.

“It’s the best brands—Stihl is our chainsaws, Yeti products for our coolers, Toro for lawn mowers, Traeger and Weber in the grilling industry; and from the tool perspective brands like DeWalt and Milwaukee. And we’ve got a full line of pet food from Taste of the Wild and Diamond,” Rosin explained enthusiastically.

Along with the name brand merchandise Ace Hardware will do custom matching paint. He said, “All of our paint products are Valspar, which is second to none in quality and variety.”

Ace Hardware also provides key and glass cutting, and chip repair.

Other items that will be coming to the Lennox Ace Hardware store will be a propane filling station that will be on site. Rosin added that later this week all of the lawn and garden items  will be here.

“We have a four step fertilizer program in which customers pay at the beginning of the season and then we email customers when they need to do the next step,” Rosin said.

A greenhouse will be set up on site the first part of May.
