The Lennox Community Library was selected as a South Dakota STAR Public Library for 2013. This national award is based on measurements of efficiencies—STAR libraries get the most out of the tax dollars and revenue expended. Measurements include circulation of books, visits to the library, program attendance and public computer usage.
The LACF was established in 2004 and has been providing grants annually to organizations in Lennox, Chancellor and Worthing. These grants are made possible through the generous contributions of community members. More information about the Lennox Area Community Fund can be found online at www.lennoxareacommunityfund.org.
