Worthing Days set for June 27-29: Community celebration to feature parade, live DJ, games, food, and more

The community of Worthing is gearing up for its annual Worthing Days celebration, set for Friday through Sunday, June 27-29, 2025. The event, organized by the Worthing Days Committee, promises fun for all ages with a full slate of family-friendly activities, games, and entertainment.

• Friday, June 27

Festivities kick off Friday evening with Cruise Night on Main Street beginning at 6 p.m. Car enthusiasts and spectators alike are invited to enjoy classic cars and great company. DJ Darin Fowlds will set the tone for the evening, providing music on Main Street both Friday and Saturday night.

• Saturday, June 28

Saturday’s events begin at 10 a.m. with the annual parade. Participants should begin lining up at 9 a.m. along Beck Street and Louise Avenue. After the parade, Main Street will host a variety of events including a tractor show at 11 a.m., followed by the kiddie pedal tractor pull for children ages 4 to 11 at 1 p.m.

A bean bag tournament will take place in the afternoon, with registration beginning at 1 p.m. and the tournament kicking off at 2 p.m. One of Saturday’s highlights, the Taco Vault Redneck Wipeout, begins at 4 p.m. in the empty lot near the Taco Vault. At 7 p.m. that evening, the “MUD” Band will be featured on the patio at Kim’s Korner.

Just a few blocks away at 3rd Street Park, the fun continues after the parade with a Farmers and Flea Market and food served by the Masons. From 12 to 4 p.m., families can enjoy bouncy houses, a dunk tank, and lively water gun fights—attendees are encouraged to bring their own water guns. Bingo begins at 2 p.m. for those looking to relax and test their luck.

The weekend celebration wraps up Sunday morning with a community church service in 3rd Street Park at 8 a.m. Afterward, guests can cool down with a treat—SDSU ice cream will be available.
