On Thursday, Apr. 25 the LHS girls’ golf team competed in the West Central Triangular at Central Valley Country Club against West Central, Beresford, and Chamberlain. Lennox’s Ashlee Sweeter (pictured above) won the event, tying for first with an 85 on the day. Sweeter shot a 41 on the front nine and a 44 on the back nine.Â
Also competing for Lennox was Izzy Vargas who shot a 112 (55, 57), Catie Sherard who shot a 115 (57, 58), Katelyn Vargas who shot a 122 (59, 63) and Peyton Herlyn who shot a 127 (62, 65).Â
On Monday, Apr. 22 the LHS girls were in an action at Two Rivers Golf Course for the Dakota Valley Invite. Sweeter led the team with a 22nd place finish, shooting a 93, this placed her K. Vargas shot a 110, I. Vargas a 114, and Herlyn a 130.Â
The Orioles were scheduled to compete at the Rocky Run Golf Course on Tuesday, Apr. 30, weather permitting and will compete in the West Central Invite on Monday, May 6.Â
Lennox will be at Canton on Tuesday, May 7.
