Softball team earns win over Baltic

The Lennox High School softball team was victorious against Baltic 6-1 on Tuesday, May 6. 

Lennox opened the scoring in the top of the third thanks to two singles. Lennox first got on the board when Layci Eli singled, scoring one run.

Eli earned the win for Lennox. The hurler gave up one hit and one run (zero earned) over six and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking three. Charlee Blommer took the loss for Baltic. The starting pitcher went seven innings, surrendering six runs (three earned) on seven hits, striking out five and walking two. Stella Meyer appeared in relief for Lennox. 

Ahleeya Nicola went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Orioles in hits. Hailey Seelen and Peyten Wright each drove in two runs for Lennox. Nicola stole three bases.
