The Lennox School District will host a series of community meetings to provide information and gather public input regarding its budget and a potential opt-out vote.

The first meeting was held on Tuesday, April 28. Two additional meetings are scheduled for Saturday, May 2 at 9 a.m. and Wednesday, May 6 at 7 p.m. Both will take place in the high school lunchroom.

School officials emphasized that the meetings are strictly informational, and no official action will be taken. The sessions are intended to give community members an opportunity to learn more about the district’s financial situation and ask questions about the potential opt-out.

The agenda for the May 2 and May 6 meetings will include a call to order and the Pledge of Allegiance, approval of the agenda, discussion regarding the budget and opting out, an opportunity for public comment, and adjournment.

Community members are encouraged to attend either session to stay informed and share feedback.
