On Friday, Apr. 19 the Lennox High School softball team hosted Tea Area and after being tied at one apiece following the first inning, Tea Area managed one more run in the second, two in the sixth and three in the seven. Lennox scored one run in the bottom of the seventh but suffered the 7-2 loss.
On the mound for Lennox was Lacy Eli who allowed 13 hits and seven runs over seven innings, striking out one and walking three.Â
Macy Wallenstien, Ahleeya Nicola and Taylor Ragle each collected two hits for Lennox. Also recording a hit for the Orioles was Hailey Seelen, Jersey Zahn and Teagen Sturm. Leading the team in stolen bases was Seelen.Â
The Orioles were scheduled to host Beresford on Tuesday, Apr. 23 and will host Tri-Valley on Friday, Apr. 26 in a 5 p.m. match-up.
