Orioles defeat Baltic in shutout

On Thursday, May 8 the Lennox High School baseball team took on Baltic and won, 5-0. Lennox scored one in the bottom of the fourth, two in the bottom of the fifth and two more in the bottom of the sixth.

Jaxson Bittner (right) earned the win on the mound for Lennox. He surrendered two hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out six and walking four. Talen Eich tossed one inning of scoreless ball in relief. He allowed zero hits, struck out two batters and walked three. 

Griffin Boomgarden led the offense with two hits in three at bats. Also recording a hit were Eich, and Justin Butler.  

The Orioles will be at Garretson on Wednesday, May 14.
