Oriole Pride Marching Band takes first in Class 2A at Dutchmen Field Championships

The Lennox High School Oriole Pride Marching Band finished its competition season on a high note, earning first place in Class 2A and sweeping all five caption awards at the Dutchmen Field Championships.
Lennox earned top honors in best music performance, best percussion, best color guard, best visual performance and best general effect. The strong performance advanced the Orioles to the finals. Although the competition season has come to a close, the community will have another opportunity to see the Oriole Pride Marching Band perform during its indoor show on Tuesday, Oct. 27, in the main Lennox High School gym. The performance will begin at 7 p.m. A chicken dinner will be served in the school cafeteria from 5 to 7 p.m. before the show.
