Times are changing quickly with the added services of online shopping. Many major retailers utilize online shopping to give their customers shopping options easily and right at their fingertips. This service isn’t reserved for just major retailers. One local entrepreneur is proving this with opening her very own online boutique in the last few months.
Nicole Herman, originally of Hartford, is bringing the residents of Lennox a new way to find affordable and adorable outfits for children by opening a new online boutique for children’s clothing.
Herman, her husband Josh and their two daughters Maggie and Nora live on an acreage between Chancellor and Parker. Herman’s two daughters were truly the inspiration for the boutique; the business, MagNora Boutique, is named after them. The boutique focuses on offering quality products for a fair price. The online boutique offers clothing sizes newborn to 10/12 for both boys and girls. They offer a variety of products, including shoes, dresses, shirts and other items.
Herman receives her products from a wholesaler out of California and then posts the products to her website. Her two daughters are involved with the business as well. Both Maggie and Nora enjoy helping Herman with every step of the process.
“When you receive your package you can bet they had a hand in getting it to you,” said Herman.
She stated that she has always been “an entrepreneur at heart.” This, along with her girls, led her to start the online boutique. Besides selling the clothing online, Herman also attends vendor shows. Her next in-person show is this coming Sunday, March 21st at the Laurel Ridge Barn from 12-4 p.m. The event is free for anyone that wishes to attend, you just need to signup up for your free tickets online. Herman would “love to see everyone there” to support her boutique, as well as all the other businesses there.
