LOVE INC announces raffle winner, plans for upcoming fundraisers

Julie Sherman (pictured above) was the winner of the Traeger XL grill. Julie loves to cook and is looking forward to smoking and grilling with this new Traeger XL grill. Julie and her husband Jim live in Laverne MN. They have two children. Julie works at Sanford Health in Sioux Falls. Doug Wernke sold the most tickets. Julie bought her winning ticket from Doug.

Fundraisers are planned for LOVE INC of Greater Lennox and Turner County during Cruise Night Thursday, July 3rd and Friday, July 4th.  The mission of Love INC (Love In the Name of Christ) of Greater Lennox and Turner County is to help local churches to transform lives and communities In the Name of Christ.

Proceeds for both events will provide funding for Love In the Name of Christ.  Love INC of Greater Lennox and Turner County is open and operating out of Faith Presbyterian Church in Lennox, located behind Jerry’s Auto.  Love INC is here to assist individuals and families who are struggling with a variety of needs and work with local churches and resources to assist.  Whether it is a sudden change in health, employment, or long-term struggle in life, Love INC is here to support and encourage as we seek to mentor, educate, refer and support individuals and families. Open hours are 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. every Tuesday at Faith Presbyterian Church, you can call 605-681-6550 as needed.

Fundraisers include:•Cruise Night July 3rd Walking Tacos will be served for a free will donation at the Archery Shak  217 So. Main St. Serving from 5:30-8:30pm. 

•Black Iron Waffle Truck will be serving a variety of waffles on 4th of July, 8am until batter is gone.   

The Black Iron Waffle Truck will be located at 110 South Main Street. Lennox, SD (next to Sanford Clinic)  Love INC will provide coffee/tip jar. Cash preferred.
