An Open House and Ribbon Cutting with the Lennox Commercial Club will be held for Love In the Name of Christ of Greater Lennox and Turner County on Monday, May 20 from 5-7 p.m. at their shared office, located at Faith Presbyterian Church in Lennox just east of Jerry’s Auto. The community is encouraged to join in celebrating Love INC who helps churches serve their neighbors and communities through resources and relationships.
Across 29 States and in Kenya, 100+ Love INC locations partner with over 7,800 Christian Churches to serve hundreds of thousands of people in need. Over 10 local churches along with a dedicated Board of Directors, have been working for over four years to see this Love INC office come to fruition. They saw the need, as every day, in our communities, people are struggling. There’s nothing more powerful than churches working together to transform lives and communities. Love INC desires to help people holistically to achieve longer-term goals. This is done through Transformational Ministry. This involves organizing and equipping church members to offer classes and mentoring. The Transformational Ministry programming provides people with knowledge/skills, training, goal setting, emotional support, and spiritual encouragement along with the church and community resources available through the Love INC Connection Center and GAP Ministries. It’s about meeting a person where they are and helping them achieve their God-given potential.
Love INC is an organization that runs on the generosity of volunteers and will be open from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. Hours will expand as volunteer hours increase. Neighbors in need will need to call for an appointment at 605-647-4500.
