The Lennox Commercial Club is hosting their annual Santa Day event on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. with changes this year in order to ensure public safety.

This year’s event will be held outside on Lennox Main Street at the Moose Brothers Construction building, formerly Lewis Drug.

Children are invited to drop off their Christmas wish list in Santa’s mailbox and receive a goody bag. Santa will be nearby to wave and pose for pictures.

There was a coloring page in last week’s newspaper that children can color and bring along to be entered into the Santa Day Coloring Contest, the coloring page is also available on the Lennox Commercial Club Facebook page.

Children will not be able to sit on Santa’s lap this year, but this festive event will allow kids a chance to let the Man in Red know just what they want for the holidays.

The Lennox Commercial Club is also planning a home decorating contest with cash prizes this year up to $250.
