The 2021 Lincoln County 4-H Achievement Days will take place July 25-29. Events will be happening in two locations this year.
In Lennox, the exhibit building will be open to view exhibits from noon to 5 p.m. both July 27 and 28. Bring the kids out to the 4-H Complex in Lennox from 1-3 p.m. on July 27 to check out the exhibits and get a balloon animal from Balloons by The Balloon Hippie. Kids can also try their hand at making free friendship bracelets.
On July 28, make raised salt paintings or try out the horticulture and CDM contest while also checking out the exhibits.
On July 29, the exhibit building is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The companion animal show begins at 10 a.m. and the rabbit show at 1 p.m. Cloverbuds will do show and tell on their projects at 4 p.m. Come play bingo at 3 p.m. or stop anytime on Thursday to color.
Also in Lennox, the 4-H barbecue runs from 5-7 p.m. and is open to the public. Get your tickets from the 4-H Office or at the barbecue for $5 each for a one bun meal. Fashion revue will begin at 5:30 p.m.
In Canton, the public is invited to attend the large livestock shows at the Canton Grounds on July 26 at 3 p.m. Meat goats and sheep will show at 4 p.m. On July 27, the poultry show begins at 10:30 a.m. and the swine show at 6 p.m., both at the Canton Grounds. On July 28, livestock shows wrap up in Canton.
