The Lennox High School Drama Department brought imagination to life this past weekend as students performed Seussical The Musical on Friday, Nov. 21, and Saturday, Nov. 22, marking the first official production inside the brand-new Lennox Performing Arts Center.
Friday night’s debut drew a packed house, with community members eager to experience the long-awaited facility and support the students who would be the first to take its stage. Once the opening number began, the audience was swept into the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss. Bright costumes, energetic choreography, and the cast’s enthusiastic performances showcased months of preparation and highlighted the talent within LHS’ drama program.
The historic night ended in a standing ovation. Attendees praised the production as a “top performance in a top-of-the-line facility,” noting how the state-of-the-art lighting, sound, and stage design elevated the experience for both performers and viewers.
