On Friday, Aug. 25 the Lennox High School cross country team will kick-off their 2023-2034 season with a meet at the Bridges in Beresford. Action begins ant 10 a.m.
Leading the Orioles again this season will be head coach Mike Oltmanns who will be assisted by Paul McVey and Kray Person.

“We have really good depth this year as many individuals will be running for varsity spots,” said Oltmanns.
Letterwinners returning for the girls are Kelsey Schmidt, Graycee Postman, Josephine Plucker, Karlie Bosma, Kenzie Bosma, and Regan Van Meeteren. Returning letterwinners for the boys include Maverick Horst, Chet Jibben, Noah Sayler, Lucas Hartman, Cloy McVey, Noah Wood, and Cade Sherard.
Oltmanns is also excited about the up and coming young runners and expects Adie McVey to make an impact.
“We are hoping to get back to state again this year and have some top individuals,” added Oltmamns.
