On Friday, Apr. 19 the Lennox High School baseball team traveled to Dell Rapids to take on the Quarriers. Lennox lead early, scoring one run in the top of the first as Talen Eich hit a sacrifice fly to score Isaac Bambas but Dells went on to grab the 5-2 victory.
Eich took the loss for Lennox on the mound. He went four innings, surrendering three runs on four hits, striking out one and walking two. Cole Spieler pitched two innings, allowing one hit and two runs. He recorded four strike-outs.
Bambas led Lennox with three hits in three at bats. Also recording a hit was Jaxson Bittner and Braxton Musser.
The Orioles will be at Baltic on Wednesday, Apr. 24 and will host McCook Central Montrose on Sunday, Apr. 28, beginning at 2 p.m.
