Lennox Speech and Debate wins first annual Tea Tournament

On Saturday, Jan. 10, several students competed at the first ever Tea speech and debate tournament. With strong performances from all the members, they were able to just beat out Beresford for the overall first place. 

Placing students included Gavin Swier who placed third in original oratory and informative speaking, Allison Schulz who tied for first in Program Oral Interp. Maddigan Van Sickle placed second in public forum with Emerson Lee who also took second in international extemp speaking, Noah Sitter placed third in domestic extemp speaking and first in public forum speaking with Madix Oltmanns who also took first place in domestic extemp speaking.  The team will compete next at Sioux Falls Lincoln this coming Friday and Saturday, Jan. 16 and 17.
