Lennox School District to host retirement gatherings for longtime staff members

The Lennox School District will celebrate the careers and contributions of several retiring staff members with upcoming retirement gatherings scheduled at various schools in the district.

Colleagues, students, families, and community members are invited to attend these events to honor the retirees for their years of dedicated service.

At Lennox Elementary, a gathering will be held in the school cafeteria on Wednesday, May 14, from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. in recognition of Tammy Welch and Phyllis Appel.

Janell Zahn will be honored at Worthing Elementary on Wednesday, May 14, with a retirement gathering scheduled from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. 

The LWC Intermediate School will host a celebration for Laurie Buchanan in the school’s cafetorium on Monday, May 19, from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m.

These events offer the community an opportunity to express their appreciation and extend best wishes to the retirees as they embark on the next chapter of their lives. All are welcome to attend.
