Lennox Oral Interp finishes season at Regions

On November 15, Lennox High School oral interp competed in Regions at Vermillion High School. The young squad participated in six of the seven events. Emma Kilene is an alternate to the State tournament in poetry. The top three students in each event at regions qualify to attend the state tournament.

Participating at the region meet were Cecily Weiers and Emma Kilene in duo interp, Emma Kilene in poetry, Maddigan Van Sickle in humorous interp and storytelling, Valicity VanBriesen in non-original oratory, and students in the reader’s theater included Cecily Weiers, Emma Kilene, Maddigan Van Sickle, Lorelia Larry, Rylee Lottman, and Allison Schultz.

The regular interp season officially draws to a close with the State interp season being held December 1 and 2 in Harrisburg. Students still have the opportunity to participate and compete in interp events during the debate season with a chance to compete for a spot at the national tournament.
