Lennox hosts golf meet

Alaina Klenner tees-off on hole 9 at the Lenkota Golf Course this past Friday, Apr. 11. 

On Friday, Apr. 11 the Lennox High School girls’ golf team enjoyed their first home match of the season as they hosted Dell Rapids and Sioux Falls Christian. 

Lennox’s Alaina Klenner led the way with a score of 49 on the day. Catie Sherard shot a 52 and Izzy Vargas a 54. Zoe Sayler finished with a 57 for the Orioles. Madelyn Lund shot a 61, Allegra Vanderwerf a 64, and Loralei Larry a 65. 

The Orioles were scheduled to be in action at The Bridges in Beresford on Tuesday, Apr. 15 and will be at The Pointe in Elk Point Jefferson on Thursday, Apr. 24 to compete in the Huskie Invite.
