The Lennox Junior High powerlifting team turned in a strong performance at the Baltic Junior High Powerlifting Meet on Saturday, Dec. 13.

On the girls side, Brynlee Green and Kenna Kitrell each claimed first place in their respective weight classes. Liberty Leo and Adaleigh Weaseling followed with second-place finishes, while Jordan Heeney placed third and Violet Duchene finished fourth.

The boys division also saw multiple top finishes for Lennox. Austin Forrest, Ace Reilly, Alex Schilling, Cooper Luvaas, and Karsten Heibult each earned first place in their weight classes. Brayden Hofer, Kruise Grajczyk, and Lincoln Allie finished second, while Greyson Seeman, Trevin Mullins, Blake Holland, and Tommy Luze placed third. Damon Lunt added a seventh-place finish, and Cayden Hall placed eighth.

Reilly was also recognized with the Best Male Lifter award.

“The coaches are very proud of all of the Lennox lifters,” said Scott Meyer. “For many of them, it was their first meet ever and it was awesome to see their confidence grow on the platform with each lift. We look forward to watching them continue to get stronger and grow in the sport of powerlifting.”
