Golfers compete at EPJ Invite

On Friday, May 3 the Lennox High School girls’ golf team compete in the Elk Point Jefferson Husky Invite. 

Ashlee Sweeter led the way for Lennox shooting an 88 on day to capture 12th. Sweeter shot a 40 on the front nine and a 48 on the back. Katelyn Vargas shot a 101 on the day to finish in 33rd. Vargas shot a 50 on the front nine and a 51 on the back. Izzy Vargas finished in 42nd with a 117 on the day, Catie Sherard shot a 122 to take 45th and Peyton Herlyn shot a 134 to finish 47th. 

The LHS golf team is scheduled to be at home May 9, depending on weather and will be at Vermillion on Monday, May 13. The Conference Tournament is planed for Tuesday, May 14 at The Pointe.
