During the Lennox High School baseball game on Saturday, May 3, the Orioles took a moment to honor one of their own—former standout player Brock Anderson—who will soon make history as the first Lennox baseball player ever inducted into the South Dakota High School Baseball Association Hall of Fame.

Anderson’s induction is set to take place on Friday, May 24, at 5:30 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Canaries Stadium.

A dominant force on the mound during his high school career, Anderson posted an impressive 19-1 record while pitching for the Orioles. Over 115.2 innings pitched, he achieved a minuscule 0.96 ERA and struck out 194 batters. With an average of 1.7 strikeouts per inning and a .105 opponent batting average, Anderson has left a legacy in the Lennox baseball program.
