CFEL Scholarship applications due

Lincoln County Community and Family Extension Leaders (CFEL) Clubs are offering two $250 scholarships to be used in a student’s final year of college or upper-level course work. It is to be used at an accredited post-secondary school of choice in South Dakota. The applicant must be a Lincoln County resident or affiliated with Lincoln County 4-H or schools. The GPA of 2.8 or higher must be stated in a story or letter of recommendation.

A brief story by the applicant must include:

How the scholarship will be used.

Leadership experience and how the applicant has benefited school and/or community.

How education is going to meet their career goal.

One sealed letter of recommendation from teacher, advisor, pastor, employer, or other unrelated person must be included. Scholarship application must be in by Aug. 1, 2025 to Lela Hall, 47956 288th St., Canton, SD 57013.
