The South Dakota Department of Health (SD-DOH) has updated the number of positive COVID-19 cases in South Dakota to 11 this morning (March 17, 2020). Negative tests are at 551. Pending tests are 35.

Bon Homme — 1
Charles Mix — 1
Davison — 1
McCook — 1
Minnehaha — 5
Pennington — 1
Among the 11 confirmed positive cases, there has been one death due to the virus.
According to SD-DOH all cases had travel history outside South Dakota prior to illness onset. There is no community transmission at this time.
