3 more COVID-19 cases confirmed in SD


Gov. Kristi Noem held a press conference this afternoon (March 11), confirming there has been three additional COVID-19 cases in South Dakota, two in Minnehaha County and one in Bon Homme. This now brings the State's total to 8 positive cases. Twenty seven tests have come back negative. Eleven tests are still pending. Gov. Noem expects to see more positive tests in the upcoming days.

She noted that 80 percent of those infected will have no symptoms or mild symptoms. She urges people to stay home and avoid large crowds and events when possible, reminding everyone to "make wise decisions".
