Active Faith Chiropractic owner Haley Luond plans to open her second location in Lennox in December.
Luond opened Active Faith Chiropractic on 57th Street in southeast Sioux Falls in June 2018 after completing her chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, Calif., in Dec. 2017.
Luond grew up in Ipswich, S.D., but her mom, Tonya is from Lennox and so are her grandparents, Ron and Judy Benz. Luond helped Lennox’s amateur baseball team and high school baseball team last year after meeting Drew Sweeter and Tyler Leisinger.
“They asked if I would help with the high school baseball team. I said absolutely yes,” she said. “I’m a big sports chiropractor.”
While she has only had her practice open in Sioux Falls for a year and a half, Luond is excited to open a second practice in Lennox.
“I’m a big sports chiropractor. It just made sense to open a practice in a small town. I’m from a small town myself,” she said.
She plans to open in Lennox in December in the open space on the southeast corner of Ace Hardware. The space will be smaller than her Sioux Falls office at 1,411 square feet. It will feature two treatment rooms, a patient exam room, massage room, space for physical therapy and rehab, as well as open seating, a coffee nook and kids area.
At her Sioux Falls location, the decor is styled in the Chip and Joanna Gaines style. In Lennox, she will be going for a modern farmhouse industrial look with colored concrete floors, white trim, open ceiling and barn door sliders for the rooms.
