Metivier and Bowers to reign over LHS Homecoming festivities

Austin Metivier and Gracie Bowers were crowned Monday night, Sept. 16 during the 2019 Lennox High School Coronation as this year’s Homecoming Marshal and Queen. 

Metivier is the son of Mike and Ann Metivier and Bowers is the daughter of Sam and Heidi Bowers. 

The entire Homecoming Court is pictured below.

The night featured performances by the LHS band, LHS mixed and concert choir, the LHS cheerleaders and several skits by the LHS athletic teams, including softball, tennis, golf, cross country, volleyball and football.  Emcees for the evening were Kayleigh Thill and Caleb Sayler.     

Friday, Sept. 20 the Homecoming Parade will begin at 1:30 p.m. The parade route for 2019 is the same as this year’s 4th of July. The route will begin from Park Drive in Westerman Park, then head North on Main St., East on 1st, South on Cherry, East on 6th and the parade will end at 6th and Hwy 17 for non-school floats and school floats will head back to Main Street, ending at Park Drive. 

The Varsity football game against Todd County that evening at home will kick off at 6 p.m.
