On Wednesday, May 29 Turner County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of a vehicle stuck on 464th Ave., just west of Lennox, sometime after 10 p.m. (pictured above).
Turner County authorities reported that they found the GMC truck suspended over a washed out section of the road. The deputy on scene arrested the driver for a DUI. The driver also received multiple citations, including crossing a road closed sign.
Authorities remind residents to be cautious on rural roads, especially after dark. Do not ignore road closed signs.
Also, don’t drink and drive.
