On Thursday, Jan. 17 the Lennox High School wrestling team hosted Tea Area during Senior night. Lennox had strong showings from their seniors and were able to get the 46-30 match win over the Titans. The match-ups featured spotlight wrestling during each match.
Seniors Tyson Stoebner, Jaetin DeCou, TJ Gipson and Bobby Smit were all able to defeat their Titan opponent. Brock Schroeder is the other senior on this year’s roster.
“The five seniors we have on our team this year have given a blueprint for other wrestlers to follow,” said Oriole head coach Mike Smit. “The time and dedication they have given this team is evident in the fact that two of them have over 150 career wins. They have been great leaders to the guys on our team, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!”
