Last week proved to be a busy day for the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners as they welcomed aboard and swore in two new Commissioners and a variety of newly elected staff.
Joining the ranks of commissioners were the newly elected Tiffani Landeen and Joel Arends. Newly elected Sheriff Steve Swenson was also sworn in.
In addition, the following elected officials were also sworn in: Auditor - Marlene Sweeter, Coroner - Kenneth Snell, and Register of Deeds - Rebecca Mathiesen. Judge John Pekas presided over the proceedings.
The new Commissioners Tiffani Landeen and Joe Arends took part in the shifting of chairs as the districts were handed down. Arends replaced Commissioner Long and Landeen replaced King.
