The Lennox Independent and Tea Weekly newspapers announced earlier this month the illustrators chosen for the 2018 Holiday Coloring Book.
Artists that were chosen from Lennox High School include: Kaylee Munson, Grade 11 (Cover Art and $25 winner); Maddie Luvaas, Grade 9; Rianna Fillipi, Grade 11; Kyrsten Perry, Grade 12; Grace Schroeder, Grade 10; Tatum Coon, Grade 9; and Mason Temme, Grade 10.
“This is one of my favorite projects,” said Publisher Kelli Bultena. “Each year we get great illustrations from the students and this year was no exception.”
Bultena also offered special thanks to the art teachers in both of the districts, “A special thank you to art teachers, Emily Maras, Lennox High School and Stephanie Kaiser, Tea Area High School, for encouraging these talented artists to submit their work.”
Area children will be able to receive a copy of the Holiday Coloring Book at the Lennox Santa Day event set for Tuesday, Dec. 4th from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the LWC Intermediate School.
This event sponsored by the Lennox Commercial Club includes an opportunity to enjoy a community meal, a Christmas tree walk, visiting with Santa and a chance to shop at the booths from area crafters and vendors that will be set up during the holiday event.
