The class of 2018 walked the halls of Lennox High School for the last time together on Saturday, May 12, 2018 as the Commencement Program took place that morning.
The High School Band under the direction of Tyler Nettestad provided music for the Processional and Recessional. Student Body President Maxwell Bultena welcomed those in attendance and Superintendent of Schools Chad Conaway announced the speakers, Valedictorian Callie Luke, daughter of Kenny and Kathy Luke and Salutatorian Jessica Symens, daughter of Jim and Robbin Symens.
Special music was provided by senior choir members.
One of the most heart-felt moments was the presentation of roses. At this point in the ceremony students from the Class of 2018 presented a rose to important people in their lives.
After which, High School Principal Chad Allison presented diplomas to the students with help from President of the Board of Education Alan Rops. Allison also recognized the Foreign Exchange Student Hala Shabaita from Israel and students in the Military. Student Council President Emma Mechels closed out the ceremony with Comments of Appreciation.
