D&D Small Engine Repair opened its doors in Lennox on Mar. 30, 2009. Since that time the father and son team of Randy Dump and Brock Dump have grown the business into an award winning dealership, bringing home the Diamond Dealer award at the recent Hustler Turf Awards Banquet in Nashville, TN.
Randy said, “It’s pretty cool, this award only goes to the best of the best.”
The D&D staff attended the banquet last week and received the honor on the big stage at the Gaylord Grand Ole Opry Resort.
D&D Small Engine Repair added sales to their service and maintenance of lawn and garden power equipment in 2010. Since that time, Randy said they’ve added a new showroom and carry a lot of lines. They have over 100 new mowers in stock, including Hustler zero turn mowers and Toro zero turn and push mowers. The company is also a DR Power Dealer, and carry wheeled trimmers and log splitters, as well as a full line of Core gasless power products, and DOLMAR products like chain saws, leaf blowers and weed trimmers. They carry Briggs and Stratton power washers, too.
Randy said another new part of the business has been the online parts sales. He said, “It’s really cool to get up and see what sales you had over night.”
Customers are able to order from the website and have the products drop shipped to their door for only $7.
