Senior students gathered in the high school library Saturday morning in anticipation for the commencement program that began at 10 a.m. Parents took photos, they heard final instructions from LHS Principal Chad Allison and then it was time.

Seventy students graduated from Lennox High School on May 14th. The Processional was performed by the High School Band under the direction of Tyler Nettestad. Senior Class President Nicholas Kayl welcomed the large crowd, while Superintendent Kirk Easton introduced the speakers.

Valedictorian August Meyer kept it light reliving some of the highlights and jokes of the class of 2016, while salutatorian Brady Klock commented on the passing of time and making the next four years even better than the previous.

Special music by Abigail Beach set the mood for the presentation of the roses; always a touching tribute to the parents, guardians, and special friends of the graduates.

Following the presentation of the roses, Allison presented the Class of 2016 and School Board President Alan Rops awarded the diplomas to the deserving students.

Foreign Exchange Students were also recognized by Allison.

To conclude the commencement program Student Council President Brady Jandl gave his comments of appreciation on behalf of the graduation class.
